    Characteristics

The new STEAM LABS™ toy series has been developed based on the latest educational trend that incorporates "art" into STEM building blocks. While art is an integral part of the engineering design process, the focus is on one of the highest brain functions of human beings, inspiring creativity. "Inspiration" has been the driving force behind all of humanity's masterpieces, be it inventions, architecture, music, painting or literature.

Young engineers build 4 amazing seagoing vessels, including their very own futuristic floating hotel, as they explore why the vessels move and learn all about the amazing history of sea travel and trade with this hands-on STEAM toy.

The STEAM LABS™ toy series adds even more interest by combining the toy with the Theory and Activity book on the outside of the box, which is wrapped in shrink wrap. Each set includes sheets of paper with pre-defined sketches that children can paint, cut and attach to their models. The books explain the theory behind the topic and include smart hands-on activities that go along with each topic. These books come with a free Augmented Reality (AR) application that makes the content much more engaging and fun!

In addition, young students will receive a colorful brochure:

    • a micro-history of maritime trade with little-known facts
    • a fun STEM experiment with a submarine
    • an easily manageable theory of gravity, pressure, density and buoyancy forces
    • a quiz that tests your understanding of key STEM concepts
    • easy to understand construction instructions
    • printable pictures to practice their design skills
