CG Gauge
CG Gauge SkyRC is a device for weighing and determining the center of gravity of aircraft models. It works on the same principle as the equipment used for real aircraft - a weighing module measuring the load belonging to the individual wheels is placed under the wheels of the landing gear. The RC Gears application on the smartphone connected via Bluetooth to all weighing modules then displays the load of the individual wheels and the total weight of the model. Based on this measurement, the actual center of gravity position is displayed after entering the wheelbase and the desired center of gravity position. The application will also recommend the required weight of the additional load to be placed in the selected location.
The CG Gauge set contains three weighing modules, each with a maximum weight of 20 kg (with an accuracy of ± 3 g). Each module is powered by a built-in battery (you can use a standard 5 V charger for smartphones with a type C USB cable for recharging).
When switched on, all modules are connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) with the RC Gears application, the scales are reset, whether the model has a bow three-wheel chassis or a spur chassis, and then the individual wheels of the model are placed on the weighing modules. Caution - the model must be in a horizontal position to determine the position of the center of gravity.
Based on the entered wheelbase, center of gravity distance from the main wheel axis and load point distance from the main wheel axis, the application then determines the actual center of gravity position and recommends the amount of load to add (or remove) at the selected location.
Angle Gauge
Angle Gauge SkyRC is a device for measuring angles and magnitudes of deflections on aircraft models. It consists of three sensor modules capable of measuring relative or absolute angles, which are attached to the steering edge edges or other required locations of the model. With the RC Gears application on a smartphone connected via Bluetooth to all sensor modules, you can then measure the magnitudes of rudder deflections either as angles in degrees or as distances in mm. / p>
The Angle Gauge set contains three sensor modules capable of measuring angles with an accuracy of 0.2 ° / magnitude of deflections with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. Each module is powered by a built-in battery (you can use a standard 5 V charger for smartphones with a type C USB cable for recharging).
After switching on, all modules are connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) with the RC Gears application, the measurement mode (angles / magnitudes of the deviations) and the measurement method (absolute, relative) are selected. Depending on the selected measurement method, for example, one of the modules can serve as a reference and the other two will measure angles derived from the position of the reference module (this can also be used to measure the angle of approach or deflection of the motor), etc. You can easily simultaneously measure halves of the elevator) and precisely adjust and align them.
