KAVAN batteries of the 40/80C series have a standard discharge current of 40C, a peak current of up to 80C and the possibility of fast charging (1-2C). They are intended for more demanding applications in model airplanes for classic and 3D aerobatics, propeller-driven models and helicopters for classic and 3D aerobatics. The high current carrying capacity guarantees the maximum use of the engine power and allows a vigorous flying style while maintaining a very good long-term service life.

Do not charge KAVAN 40/80C series accumulators with a current greater than 2C, for normal operation we recommend using currents in the range of 1-2C. We recommend using a balancer every time you charge. KAVAN 40/80C series batteries do not require initial formation, but if you intend to charge the kits with a current greater than 1C, we recommend not to exceed 1C current for the first three charge cycles. There is no need to discharge them before charging – for example, you can safely charge 50% discharged accumulators.

The kit is delivered in the "Air Pack" design and is specially optimized for use in competition motor gliders of the F5J class in terms of dimensions, capacity and load capacity. It is equipped with silicone power (charging) cables with a cross-section dimensioned with regard to the expected current load (without connectors). The service connector is of the standard type of the JST-XH system – their advantage is their small size and weight (which users of small capacity sets will especially appreciate), they have a simple connection of the outlets and it is even possible to plug them directly into the balancer sockets on many KAVAN, RAYTRONIC, SkyRC chargers, GT Power etc. without using any adapter.
