KAVAN four-stroke engines are an excellent choice for recreational sports, acrobatic models and model aircraft. They are characterized by reliable operation and very easy adjustment; they are "consumer" engines in the best sense of the word, which every fan of the deep "puffing" of four-stroke engines can afford to buy and operate. And if you take appropriate care of them, they will reliably power your models for many years.
KAVAN FT-160AR is a two-cylinder four-stroke engine with valve timing, especially suitable for RC model aircraft. It is equipped with a two-needle RC carburetor.
The crankshaft has a thread for a UNF 3/8 propeller nut, and a set of lock nuts for reliable propeller fastening is included in the basic engine assembly.
Recommended propeller dimensions:
Break-in: 16×8"
Sport and Acrobat: 14×9", 14×11", 15×8", 15×10"
Model: 17×6", 18×6"
Recommended fuel tank: 350–450 ml.
Recommended fuel: KAVAN 4T Air 5% nitro for break-in and normal operation, after break-in you can also use KAVAN 4T Air 10% nitro or 15% nitro. Fuels with castor oil should contain at least 18% castor oil (or a mixture of synthetic and castor oil) and 5–15% nitromethane.
Recommended spark plug: KAVAN GP-1, O.S. MAX type F, KAVAN Premium No.4T.
The engine kit includes: engine with RC carburetor with choke and engine mount, 2x muffler adapter, 2x glow plug connector with internal glow/preheat cable, set of Allen keys, set of screws, instructions.
