KAVAN four-stroke engines are an excellent choice for recreational sports, aerobatic models and model aircraft. They are characterized by reliable operation and very easy adjustment; they are in the best sense of the word "consumer" engines that every fan of the deep "puffing" of four-stroke engines can afford to buy and operate. And if you give them adequate care, they will reliably power your models for many years.

KAVAN FS-70AR is a four-stroke engine with valve timing designed for all types of aircraft models, especially suitable for RC models. It is equipped with a two-needle RC carburetor with choke; the basic set also includes an expansion muffler.

The crankshaft has a thread for a UNF 5/16-24 propeller nut, a lock nut set is supplied in the basic engine assembly for reliable propeller fastening.

Recommended propeller dimensions:
Run-in: 12×6"
Sport and Acrobat: 11×9", 12×7"
Mockup: 13×6", 14×6"

Recommended fuel tank: 300–350 ml.

Recommended fuel: KAVAN 4T Air 5% nitro for running-in and normal operation, after running-in you can also use KAVAN 4T Air 10% nitro or 15% nitro. Castor oil fuels should contain at least 18% castor oil (or a mixture of synthetic and castor oil) and 5-15% nitromethane. (Although KAVAN four-strokes can also run well on non-nitrated "FAI" fuel, we recommend using fuel with at least a small nitromethane content - the engine operation is then really highly reliable and carburetor adjustment is easier and less sensitive to temperature changes and other environmental influences.)

Recommended spark plug: KAVAN GP-1, OS MAX type F, KAVAN Premium No.4T.
