Officially licensed bodywork

The model is equipped with an officially licensed Ford Bronco 2021 mock-up body, which faithfully copies the details with which it is richly equipped. The model has a mock-up processed front grille, rear-view mirrors, door handles, roof rack, and more. The durable ABS body is available in several colors, just choose the most beautiful one for you.

Licensed tires

For a complete look, the bodywork is complemented by officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires, which offer a fantastic combination of off-road performance and quiet handling on hard surfaces.

Spektrum SLT2 2.4 GHz Transmitter

The Spektrum SLT2 dual-channel transmitter offers a number of useful features, such as throttle path adjustment and throttle control and limit. It is ergonomically designed for long, fatigue-free driving and has a foam steering wheel for precise control. The RTR package is complete, including AA transmitter batteries.

Steel C-frame side members

Like the larger 1:10 SCX10™ II chassis platform, the SCX24™ chassis features robust C-section steel frame members that provide high chassis rigidity and strength, keeping the chassis sufficiently rigid even with high axle torsion.

Dynamite engine

The Tazer 180 88T engine on the SCX24 chassis is specially designed for 1:24 RC car models, where, together with an optimally adjusted gearbox, it provides the axles with the necessary torque for steep climbs.

Worm gear

The front and rear differentials are equipped with a worm gear to ensure maximum power transmission to the axles and at the same time provide constant braking when the car stops. The small dimensions allow for greater ground clearance.

Front and rear solid axle

The front and rear straight axles are constructed from a two-piece plastic molding that houses ball-bearing steel drive shafts. For optimal handling, the SCX24™ suspension features three-point front and four-point rear suspension.

Solid steel shafts

The high torque of the worm gear requires the use of steel drive shafts. Only these can transmit power to the wheels even on difficult climbs.

Splined drive shafts

The front and rear drive shafts from the central gearbox to the differentials are 2-piece splined and allow maximum axial displacement of the shafts while maintaining the transmitted power.

4-point rear axle suspension

For maximum maneuverability, reduced axle torsion and elimination of torque, a 4-point suspension design was developed and used on the SCX24's rear axle.

Equipped with ball bearings

Even though it is a small model, it is equipped with ball bearings just like a big car. No plain bearings, only ball bearings. If you drive in a wet or dusty environment, don't forget to clean and lubricate!

Oil-filled shock absorbers

The ride quality is significantly influenced by the shock absorbers, which is why the model has oil shock absorbers that allow a smooth ride over uneven terrain. The spring preload can be adjusted to fine-tune the amount of suspension to suit the terrain.

LED lighting

For maximum realism, there are high-brightness LEDs in the headlight parabolas and in the front bumper.

Tilting body

The flip-up body system provides easy access to the battery and control unit. The clip-free hinge system allows you to quickly change the battery.

Trailer

Attach a two-axle trailer to the model, which includes LED lighting and ramps, which are always ready and stored under the chassis. The towbar is included in the trailer package.

Upgrade to AC drive

The model can be upgraded to a brushless drive using a sensored motor and controller. This Combo was specially developed for the SCX24 and AX24 platform. The brushless sensored drive offers high performance, long life and precise speed control corresponding to the throttle position. Upgrading to a brushless drive on this model does not require replacing the RC kit, as the installed controller in the model can only be used as a receiver.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of the Axial RC car you need tire glue, screw glue and a tool kit. From our range we recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars. The model also uses screws in inch units, so we recommend a 1/20" Allen screwdriver.

Tire glue is used to glue tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not glued around the entire circumference, it may burst. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. From our offer, we recommend Robitronic Tire Glue.

Screw glue is required for routine maintenance. Screws screwed into metal materials (e.g. screws in the motor, a nut in a pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.

Protective covers for batteries

Protective packaging is designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for long driving times. On the other hand, LiPo batteries are particularly susceptible to mechanical damage.
