RTR HOBBYTECH CRX18 Crawler 1/18, 4wd, - white

The 1/18 scale CRX18 is the baby of its 1/10 bigger brother.

The CRX18 is designed in 1/18 scale: chassis with an aluminum frame, central gearbox (located slightly forward) and with the engine in the lower position. Two chassis struts, each connected to a 4-link undercarriage.

The Micro-Servo control is a 3-wire version with a standard connector. To lower the center of gravity as much as possible, it is placed on the front axle (AMS assembly). Motorization is entrusted to a DC motor with 55 turns.

On the electronic side, the CRX18 is equipped with an all-in unit (Receiver - Regulator), which has 9 sockets for connecting a complete LED light system with indicators and brake lights. The CRX is equipped with 2 LED headlights that can be controlled via radio. Finally, the LiPo kit is a 2S with a capacity of 600mAh, which allows you to drive for up to several hours.

Aesthetically, the CRX18 is a faithful reproduction of its big brother, the CRX2. The struts are the same design as the struts fitted to the CRX2. The body has the same cooling grid and the same accessories (canister, snorkel, wipers and mirrors). Even the tires are an exact copy of the Climber. A nice little detail: the side steps are equipped with a slot in which the lower part of the body is stored, so that it does not get damaged on obstacles.

Tuning parts will soon be available to improve the performance and/or appearance of the CRX18: ball bearings, oil dampers...

The CRX18 allows you to ride inside the house/apartment or outside. It looks great in small and large spaces. His climbing skills are impressive. On the rocks: the lightness, balance and efficiency of the tires allow it to overcome incredible obstacles. The radio allows you to adjust the end deflections (throttle and steering). Adjusting the throttle allows you to fine-tune the steering and adapt the CRX18's speed to the terrain and obstacles.
