Like its bigger brother, the Venture18 combines a durable, molded steel frame with realistic suspension and drivetrain. Despite its compact size, the car is packed with impressive features, including a new all-metal two-speed transmission, four-link front and rear suspension, and universal telescopic counter-rotating driveshafts. With authentically graded oil shocks and fully locked differentials, the Venture18 offers reliable handling in all terrain conditions.

The Venture18 also marks the return of officially licensed Toyota products to the HPI Racing range. The meticulously crafted polycarbonate body of the 1985 Toyota Hilux SR5 is free of staples and is available in two striking color options - Gloss Black and Bright Gloss Red. Both color versions are available in two power options - DC and AC (Flux).

The body is pre-painted and also includes clear windows and model accessories such as Toyota badges, front grille, door handles, wipers, functional mirrors, plus tubular bumpers and a roll cage for a high level of realism. The fitted LED light kit further enhances the authenticity and adds an extra layer of detail to the Venture18 that really stands out. The lights can also be controlled directly from the transmitter.

The Venture18 offers 5 different light modes that can be easily switched by simply pressing a button on the transmitter. From day mode, through twilight to night mode for full illumination - the Venture18 will not let you down in any light conditions.

The Venture18 is equipped with a robust and reliable four-link suspension at the front and rear. The lower and upper suspension lines at the front and rear are made of 4mm composite rods with integrated ball joints.

The Venture18 chassis is extremely versatile on and off-road. Its capabilities lie in several factors, from approach angles and tire contact points to off-road-friendly bumpers and chassis, as well as good ground clearance thanks to the minimal size of the axle boxes.

The Venture18 is equipped with an all-metal, two-speed, servo-assisted transmission designed for excellent performance and durability. With the push of a switch on the transmitter, you can effortlessly switch between low and high gears, giving you the flexibility to tackle any terrain with ease.

Low gear boasts an impressive 81.44:1 gear ratio, which provides exceptional ability to slow down on narrow, technical trails and obstacles. And when you need to pick up speed on a flat, open section - or just need a lot of power to get up a hill - just shift to high gear on the transmitter, giving you a 20.36:1 gear ratio that gives you serious speed.

Say goodbye to traditional bodywork staples. The Venture18 Clipless Body Mounting System offers a hassle-free, safe and effective solution for closing and opening the body. Designed for ease of use and built to last, this system eliminates the need for ordinary clips that can get lost or break during extended trips. With a front swivel mechanism and rear hinge, you'll enjoy quick access to the chassis and easy battery replacement, making your Venture18 experience smoother and more enjoyable than ever.
