One of the most used bodies for RC Crawler models is the Ford® Bronco. Pro-Line offers a body model 1973 with a wheelbase of 305 mm for classic wheels or chassis with tracks, equipped with a front grill, headlights, body moldings and a number of details. The sticker sheet includes the front grille, front, rear and side lights, door handles, logos and lettering. The body is clear and includes a window mask. After spraying, apply decals and you're done.
To finish, you need to paint the bodywork. Lexan bodies are always delivered as a semi-finished product intended for carving and painting. First of all, you need to cut out the body nicely, to make the holes for the wheels as round as possible, bent lexan scissors will help you. For flat surfaces, we also offer lexan straight scissors.
When choosing colors for the polycarbonate body, you need to be careful that you buy a real spray for lexan, e.g. H-SPEED Spray for lexan 150ml white, it has a special composition so that it sticks to the body, the colors are flexible and resistant to peeling and cracking even with the biggest impact.
Before painting, the body must be thoroughly degreased, most manufacturers recommend washing the body with spring water. After degreasing, use masking tape from the inside of the bodywork, e.g. 24mm masking tape to create the design of your choice, or apply the masking stickers supplied by the manufacturer to the windows and lights.
It is important to know that Lexan bodies are painted from the inside, which makes the body resistant to abrasion. Varnishing should take place best in rooms with room temperature. Individual colors are applied in at least three layers, it is important to apply the color from a sufficient distance, at least 15-20 cm.
