Possibility of setting the wheelbase of the chassis

The wheelbase of the SCX10 ™ III Jeep® JLU Wrangler can only be changed by changing the mounting of the frame profiles and adding optional swing axle shafts. The drive shafts are designed for high loads and significantly improve driving characteristics even in rugged terrain.

Battery holders

The Wrangler SCX10-III Jeep® JLU has a standard battery pack that holds standard LiPol or NiMH battery packs. There is also space on the side rails for smaller batteries, which are needed for other accessories such as lighting, winch and the like.

Portal axles with hypoid transmission

The advantage of the AR45 gantry axles is, of course, the higher ground clearance, but also the advantageous reduction of the torque on the output shaft and the reduction of the torque on the other drive components.

Improved suspension geometry

The suspension geometry is based on the previous version of the SCX10-II chassis, but is slightly modified for the new version of the chassis. The front suspension has been optimized to reduce steering load, and the rear 4-link suspension reduces torque. Front-wheel drive is provided by steel half-axles with universal joints.

Aluminum oil shock absorbers

The Jeep® JLU Wrangler has long-stroke shock absorbers that have a body made of light anodized aluminum. For coil springs, the pressure force can be adjusted to achieve the optimum damping rate (the spring preload can be conveniently adjusted using the nut on the damper body). The caps have a screw hole for checking the condition and filling of the oil. Thanks to the size and volume of the shock absorbers, their function is guaranteed along the entire stroke length.

NITTO TRAIL GRAPPLER TIRES

The S30 Nitto Trail Grappler S30 tires, which are part of the SCX10 ™ III Jeep® JLU Wrangler, are taller and wider (4.74 x 1.7), which increases the ground clearance of the car and ensures better grip of the tires when driving in various terrains.

Licensed 3-piece beadlock discs

The officially licensed KMC XD Machete discs, which are renowned in the field world, are stamped in satin chrome and contain amazing model details. Because they are three-piece discs, the tires can be easily mounted, removed and replaced without gluing.

Transmitter Spectrum ™ DX3 ™ 2.4GHz DSMR®

The package includes a Spektrum ™ DX3 vysí transmitter with exclusive DSMR® technology for excellent range, durability and response. It is fully compatible with Spektrum telemetry, which is integrated in the Spektrum ™ Firma ™ Smart 40A receiver.

Recommended LiPo batteries

For normal riding, we recommend a 2-cell LiPo battery (7.4 V), with EC3, IC3 connector.

• Standard LiPo battery with maximum driving time Black Magic 7.4 V 6500 mAh.

Recommended NiMH batteries

NiMH batteries are not difficult to handle properly and are therefore suitable if the RC model of the car is operated mainly by children (NiMH batteries will not be destroyed by complete discharge). However, driving time with NiMH batteries will be slightly shorter.

Recommended chargers for Smart batteries Spectrum

If you decide to use modern Smart LiPo batteries in the RC model of the Axial car, then we recommend this charger:

• DC charger 10 - 32 V Spectrum S1200 with one output
• Mains charger Spektrum S2100 with two outputs 2x 100 W Spektrum S2100.

Recommended chargers for conventional LiPo and NiMH batteries

If you decide to operate the model on conventional LiPo and NiMH batteries , we recommend using universal chargers with a power of at least 50 W.

Model lighting

For a breathtaking look, we recommend equipping the model with LED lighting. If the model already contains basic lighting, you can expand, improve or modify it according to your own needs.

• Light set - Night Vision System - AXIC4251
  Advanced system with front LEDs (illuminates intensively when driving forward), brake LEDs (illuminates intensively when braking), turn signals (flashing when turning to a specific side) and additional LEDs (for example for a light ramp). Possibility of connecting another six light circuits.
• Light set - Axial Standard - AXIC2425
  Standard light set with power supply module and diodes - The power supply module allows the connection of two LED beams, which will be permanently lit. The package contains high-brightness diodes ( 4x white LED in the headlights and 2x red LED in the taillights ).
• 3-port lighting control unit - AXIC1097
  Control unit with the possibility of connecting three beams of permanently lit LED diodes. The package does not contain diodes - you can choose them according to your needs in the accessories for the item.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of the Axial RC car, you need tire glue, bolt glue, a tool kit and silicone shock absorber oil. From our range we recommend an affordable set of tools for RC cars.

The tire glue adheres the tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary for the tire to be firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not stuck around the entire circumference, it may rupture. The tire adhesive has a special composition that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the adhesive is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.

Occasionally it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there is only a slight leakage of silicone oil along the shock absorber piston rods. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leak may be large. For these cases, repair kits or individual parts are supplied. For routine maintenance, a screw adhesive is required (Order No. FS-G06 / 10. Screws screwed into the metal material (eg screws in the motor, pinion in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this adhesive.

Protective covers for batteries

Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for long travel times. On the contrary, the LiPo battery is prone mainly to mechanical damage.
