    Template information:

The Volkswagen Samba Van has countless nicknames around the world. One of the most famous is the "Hippie Van" due to its enormous popularity in the sixties in the USA and in Europe among the hippie movement.

Its design was simple but spacious, mainly thanks to the rear engine. The van became popular with young people as it allowed the group to travel comfortably and was large enough to live in so it could be used for long distance trips such as music festivals or surfing. "Hippie Van" remains iconic today, thanks to being featured on album covers by musicians such as Bob Dylan. But the most famous of all, the Woodstock music festival, which took place in the summer of 1969.

The Volkswagen Samba, also known as the Sunroof Deluxe in the United States, was the most luxurious version of the T1. Volkswagen started producing Sambas in 1951. It had a 1.6 L engine with a power of 35 kW.
