    Template information:

The Dodge Charger is an automobile model sold by Dodge in various guises for seven generations since 1966.

The 1969 model year brought several modifications. Exterior changes included a new grille with a center divider and new longitudinal taillights, both designed by Harvey J. Winn. The bumblebee stripes are back, but slightly altered. Instead of four stripes, it was now a wide stripe framed by two smaller stripes. An R/T cutout was placed in the middle of the strip. If the strip was removed, a metal R/T emblem was placed where the R/T cutout was.

Two different 383 engines were available for the 1969 model year: a 2-barrel and a 4-barrel. The 2-barrel was rated at 290 hp. The four-barrel engine was rated at 330 hp and marked "383 / FOUR BARREL" on the air filter. The 330 hp engine was unique to the Charger in 1969. Both versions used the Carter AVS carburetor and larger exhaust manifold from the 440 Magnum engines, but the Magnum had a wind vane in the oil pan, a different camshaft profile, and different valve springs. In 1969, the B Series engines were all painted Chrysler Engine Turquoise except for the 383 four-cylinder, four-speed and 440 Magnum engines, which were painted Chrysler "High-Performance Orange".
