The Cadillac Eldorado is a luxury car produced and marketed by Cadillac between 1952 and 2002 in twelve generations.

The 1959 Cadillac is noted for its huge sharp tail surfaces with dual taillights, two distinct rooflines and roof pillar configurations, new jewel-like grille patterns, and matching decorative decklid panels.

The Seville and Biarritz models had the Eldorado name written behind the front wheel well. They featured wide, full-length accented body sills that curved over the rear fender profile and rear along the top of the beltline. Engine power was even 345 hp (257 kW) from the 390 cu in (6.4 L) engine. Standard equipment included power brakes, power steering, automatic transmission, reverse lights, windshield wipers, two-speed wipers, wheel discs, outside rearview mirror, vanity mirror, oil filter, power windows, six-way power seats, heater, fog lights. The standard equipment included air conditioning, automatic headlight dimmers and cruise control.
