The collectible Bburago car models are among the least popular on the market, not only thanks to the nice workmanship, but also the friendly price. The body of the models is made of metal and contains a lot of details.
The first generation Boxster was introduced in 1996; the second generation Boxster arrived in late 2005; and the third generation launched in 2012. Since the introduction of the fourth generation in 2016, the model has been sold as the Porsche 718 Boxster. The Boxster label is a portmanteau of boxer, a reference to its flat or boxer engine and roadster, a reference to body style.
The Porsche Boxster is a two-seater mid-range roadster. The first generation Boxster (986) was introduced in late 1996; it was powered by a 2.5-liter flat six-cylinder engine. The design was heavily influenced by the 1992 Boxster concept. In 2000, the base model was upgraded to a 2.7 liter engine and a new version of the Boxster S was introduced with a 3.2 liter engine. In 2003, styling and engine performance were improved on both variants.
The Bburago Classic range offers detailed pad printing, detailed model interior details (e.g. dashboard). The models are packed in traditional Bburago packaging without a plastic base for collectors.
