Bodywork designed for specific models is usually already cut from the factory. In the case of individual modifications or universal and uncut bodies, we recommend using special Lexan (polycarbonate) scissors, which will allow precise and clean cutting of the necessary shapes.
- For straight lines - straight Lexan scissors.
- For round shapes - curved Lexan scissors.

Before painting, it is necessary to thoroughly degrease the body - ideally by washing it with lukewarm water and detergent. After drying, you can use masking tape, such as 10 mm masking tape, on the inside to create your own design, or use the pre-made masks supplied by the manufacturer.

When choosing colors for a polycarbonate (lexan) body, it is important to use special colors designed directly for lexan, which easily etch into the material, making the resulting spray flexible and resistant to cracking and peeling during impacts. The last layer is usually white paint, as a base for highlighting.

Tip: Lexan bodies are always painted from the inside, which ensures high resistance to scratches and abrasion. Apply the paint in several thin layers (ideally at least three) from a distance of approximately 15–20 cm.
