The McLaren MP4/2 was one of the most successful racing cars in the history of Formula 1. In 1985, the MP4/2B model debuted, equipped with a TAG Porsche engine, which was upgraded with twin turbochargers, making it 850 horsepower. It also featured an aerodynamic design that complied with the new regulations and was less conspicuous than its predecessors. The technical and structural success of the project was confirmed by the victory in the constructors' and drivers' world championships, in which the extraordinary talent of driver Alain Prost contributed equally. In 1986, this exceptional car was further improved with the arrival of the MP4/2C version and Alain Prost once again confirmed his status as world champion. Joining him in this new season is another great Formula 1 talent, Finn Keke Rosberg. The McLaren MP4/2 holds a special place in the hearts of Formula 1 enthusiasts and fans simply because it has won three Drivers' Championship titles and two Constructors' Championship titles.
