Paper wrapping is the oldest method of finishing flying model aircraft. It is glued to the frame either with water-based glue (dispersion) or painted with adhesive varnish. The method is chosen according to the stiffness of the skeleton, adhesive varnish is recommended for a rigid skeleton, because there is more tension on the paper and it is therefore advisable to fasten parts of the model to the template during drying to prevent the shape of the part from collapsing.
