For operation, you need a 11.1 - 14.8 V LiPo battery with a capacity of 3200 - 4000 mAh, at least a 6-channel Spektrum RC transmitter and a charger.
Characteristics
New - a detailed semi-model of the well-known Beechcraft D18 airplane as a fully functional RC model E-flite with a wingspan of 1.5 m. The model is elaborated to the last detail and faithfully captures the individual elements of the original in exact scale. The Beechcraft D18 is packed with features and state-of-the-art technology.
The Beechcraft D18 was produced between 1937 and 1969 in a total of 32 versions and over 9,000 units were produced in total. This proves that it was a successful and user-popular machine. There were also versions for the army, which were used for pilot training.
The model is made of reinforced lightweight and durable EPO material and includes many detailed elements such as molded lines of panels and hatches, antennas, exhausts, transparent cockpit and more. The model has functional flaps for take-off and landing. Authentic look and function is installed with LED lighting and electric retractable undercarriage. The 3-part design of the wing allows for the most convenient transport and storage, all parts of the wing are equipped with an innovative hands-free connection.
Smart technology
The E-flite Beechcraft D18 1.5m RC model aircraft is equipped with a dual Avian controller that can provide a range of real-time telemetry data - engine speed, current, battery voltage. Through compatible RC receivers and transmitters, these data can be seen on the transmitter display. The dual controller supports differential thrust, which improves flight characteristics, taxiing on the ground and allows for special aerobatic maneuvers.
Drive variability
The model is equipped with motors that provide enough traction even when using a 3-cell (11.1 V) LiPo battery. If you require maximum performance, then a 4-cell (14.8 V) battery can be used for the drive.
Detailed design
Thanks to the EPO construction, the surface of the model is highly detailed – sheet metal lines, covers, antennas, cockpit and the like. The details are done accurately to scale.
LED lighting and clacks
The E-flite Beechcraft D18 1.5m model aircraft has LED navigation lights and functional flaps installed. As with a real airplane, both rudders are controlled here.
Retractable chassis
A retractable undercarriage is located in the engine nacelles. The mechanism of the retractable chassis is made of metal. Thanks to the large wheels, it is possible to take off and land from grassy airfields.
Durable construction

Accessories for normal operation
For the normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will surely come in handy for assembly and Modelcraft cutting knife with A6 pad for cutting.

Protective covers for accumulators
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
