E-flite® Radian® powered gliders are popular for ease of use, repairability and excellent flight characteristics. The new version brings several improvements, including lighting of the model. Strips with high-brightness LEDs are embedded throughout the aircraft's airframe, which are installed inside the wing, fuselage and elevator. The vibrant colors and placement of the LEDs offer incredible visibility and easy orientation at summer dusk and even in complete darkness. Or they can be turned off when flying in daylight. The LEDs can be programmed to display in 100 different color, sequence and timing combinations using the built-in controller. Using a compatible Spektrum ™ AirWare ™ transmitter and Smart receiver (such as the AR631 included in the Bind-N-Fly® Basic version), Night Radian 2.0m pilots can now view a range of real-time telemetry data, including engine speed, current, total voltage batteries and more. The Radian electric glider is intended for beginners with RC models, therefore only the elevator, rudder and motor are controlled. It is made of durable EPO material, the shape and profile of the wing ensures a stable and reasonably slow flight.

AS3X ™ stabilization
The Spektrum receiver is equipped with AS3X technology, which helps stabilize the model in flight. The receiver contains a triaxial MEMS gyro and an accelerometer, and thanks to electronic stabilization, the control of the model is simplified, eg in windy weather. The model reacts similarly to a much larger model and its flight is calm without maintaining its full controllability. AS3X brings more driving confidence.
SAFE Select technology ™ for beginners
Thanks to the SAFE Select technology used, even a less experienced pilot can control the model . The SAFE system prevents the incline from being exceeded when cornering and also limits ascents and descents. By simply releasing the control levers of the controller, the model returns to horizontal flight. These features will be appreciated especially by novice pilots who are not yet fully confident in driving models.
As the name SAFE Select suggests, this is an optional feature - it's up to you whether you want to use or disable SAFE technology. The pairing method sets whether the SAFE function is to be switched on or off. It is also possible to turn the SAFE function on or off using the free channel of the transmitter.
Advantages of the SAFE Select funkce function:
- It limits the maximum inclinations of the model and thus prevents the model from moving into the corkscrew.
- It automatically puts the model into horizontal flight when the transmitter control levers are released
- Using the free channel, the SAFE system can be switched on or off during flight.
Exclusive technology
Night Radian 2.0m is equipped with exclusive Spektrum ™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. The AS3X is a 3-axis gyroscope that works behind the scenes and eliminates the effects of wind and turbulence, making it appear that you are flying a larger aircraft. The optional use of SAFE Select offers tilt and tilt limits along with automatic self-leveling, which can be switched on and off by simply switching the switch! And if you don't want to enable the SAFE Select function, simply pair the receiver normally and only AS3X stabilization will be active.
Integrated LED lighting
The installed LED lighting system offers flying at dusk or at night as well as in daylight. The multi-colored light chains are controlled via a built-in controller that offers 100+ different color combinations, sequences and timings and is powered by a powered LiPol battery. When flying in daylight, you simply turn off the lights with the power switch on the model.
AC motor
The installed AC motor with a 30A regulator with a brake and a two-blade tilting propeller provides the model with high power when climbing and has minimal resistance when the propeller is tilted along the fuselage. The tilting propeller in non-motorized flight does not increase resistance, so the glider can fly in thermals for long minutes. With the flight technique where the engine transports the model to altitude again and continues to fly without the use of the engine, it is possible to achieve a long flight in tens of minutes. LiPol battery 3S 1350mAh to 2200mAh can be used.
AC regulator with telemetry
Night Radian 2.0m is equipped with a controller that can offer a variety of telemetry data related to the real-time power system. This includes engine speed, current, total battery voltage and more via compatible Smart receivers (including AR631 installed in the BNF® Basic version) and a transmitter equipped with Spectrum ™ AirWare ™ (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2 / G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others), real in flight.
New and better
The popularity of the original Radian model led E-flite designers to modify the Night Radian FT model, which retained good flight characteristics and excellent handling. However, thanks to the lighting, its usability has increased significantly, because now you can also enjoy night flying. In the version of the set, the lighting of the free channel is not ensured.
Quick assembly
No glue is needed during assembly, only a screwdriver. Therefore, the motorized Night Radian glider can be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge the battery. The two - part sash with a carbon tube is secured with two screws for easy and convenient assembly and disassembly / p>
Lightweight and durable
The elevator has a full profile and integrated LED lighting. The construction made of EPO material is reinforced with carbon elements, it is light and at the same time very durable. The model is easy to repair and offers the best flight experience.
Access to electronics
An AR631 receiver and elevator and rudder servos are installed under the cover at the bottom of the Night Radian's fuselage. Under the cab is a place for a propulsion battery, which is secured with Velcro.

Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a case for storing LiPol batteries. From our range, we recommend a quality set of 1.5 / 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) and a Modelcraft cutting knife with an A6 washer will certainly be suitable for assembly.

Protective covers for batteries
Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is prone to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
