SAVAGE MAX is a high-performance 3D aerobatic park-fly special made of foam EPP designed for drive by AC electric motors with a power of 350-500 W. A few hours with super glue in hand are enough to complete this model capable of flying the turns of a classic F3A set, as well as hanging on a propeller and performing all other 3D tricks! It is also intended for less experienced pilots; with minor deviations, anyone who already has at least some experience with aerobatics and is able to reliably fly a somersault, turn and roll with the previous model can fly it. Thanks to the low weight of the model, any crash due to "hand entanglement" does not hurt too much - and EPP parts are so easy to repair!
The one-piece wing with large ailerons has a symmetrical profile, carbon beams provide strength and, of course, there are prepared shafts for servos. The fuselage is profiled with a horizontal part thoroughly reinforced with carbon flanges and a vertical part with a large side surface for perfect behavior in knife-edge flight. The well-thought-out design includes plywood engine mounts anchored to the fuselage using carbon flanges. The fuselage has prepared shafts for the elevator and rudder servos. The tail surfaces are also made of EPP, the halves of the large floating elevator are mounted on a carbon tubular beam, which rotates in a 3D printed bearing in the fuselage. Short straight carbon or steel rods control the ailerons, rudder and elevator. The main landing gear is made of carbon with two light wheels and EPP covers; 4 screws are attached to the support laminate plate anchored to the fuselage with 3D printed plastic brackets. A spur with a 3D printed console and a lightweight foam wheel is coupled to the rudder.
To control the model, you will need at least a four-channel RC kit, which should at least have the ability to set double and exponential deflections.
For undemanding recreational flying, common analog microservos with metal gears such as KAVAN GO-13MG, Hitec HS-65MG, etc. are sufficient. If you are serious about aerobatics, you should use strong and fast digital servos with metal gears such as KAVAN GO-1013MG, Hitec HS-5065MG, etc.
For propulsion, we recommend a KAVAN PRO 3536-1000, FOXY 3536-1000, Model Motors AXI 2814/16 V2 brushless electric motor or similar with an APC 11x4.7SF propeller when powered by a 3S LiPo battery or 10x4.7SF when using a 4S LiPo.
The speed controller should have a load capacity of at least 40 A, and especially if you use powerful and fast digital servos, it should have a powerful switching power stabilizer BEC, such as the KAVAN PRO-40SB or KAVAN R-50SB.
A three- or four-cell LiPo battery of 1300-1800 mAh with a load capacity of at least 40C is suitable for power supply.

The kit includes: printed fuselage, wing, tail and landing gear covers cut from EPP foam, plywood engine mount, 3D printed plastic parts, carbon reinforcements, levers, forks, rods and other small accessories, carbon chassis with lightweight wheels, detailed illustrated building instructions.
