Graupner Hawk 18 HoTT receiver with 3-axis gyroscope and variometer (9 channels) S1053
With the Hawk 18 receiver, Graupner presents a powerful 9-channel receiver with an integrated 3-axis gyroscope and a particularly vibration-resistant 3-axis acceleration sensor, diversity antennas, vario mode and position mode for fixed-wing models or rescue mode and position mode for helicopters.
Thanks to GRAUPNER HoTT 2.4 GHz technology, the receiver has a safe high-frequency telemetry transmission section with skipping, high-quality components and state-of-the-art software. The receiver transmits the parameters "receiver voltage", "receiver temperature", "signal strength", "height" and "height difference (vario)" to the transmitter without additional sensors. It is also possible to transfer Euler angles to the transmitter and display them there.
Together with the diversity of antennas, the antenna amplifier ensures a huge range. The faster 32-bit L4 processor guarantees energy-saving operation and the higher performance ensures that the Hawk 18 can also be used as an unmanned system for helicopters and as a flight controller for copters. The integrated Hawk gyroscopic system can of course also be perfectly used for fixed-wing models. There are 4 different gyro modes: OFF, normal stabilization, heading lock, rotation rate mode and position mode. When properly set up, the gyroscope's rate of rotation mode allows for knife-edge flight and a twister without steering corrections. Extremely fast, easy and convenient setup via the telemetry menu of the Hott transmitter.
Like its namesake, the hawk, the Hawk 18 is the epitome of determination, power and precision. Hunt for the perfect flight with the Hawk.
Area models
- Model stabilization in difficult windy conditions in up to 3 axes.
- Natural flight behavior thanks to proportional gyro blinding
- The three-axis gyro means that even difficult-to-control aerobatic models can be flown very smoothly and acrobatics are extremely easy
- Flight maneuvers can be performed much more cleanly
- 4 different gyro modes: OFF, normal stabilization, heading lock, yaw rate mode for particularly easy knife-edge flight and simple twisting, as well as attitude mode
- Simple setting of gyro assignment
- Parameter setting via HoTT telemetry
- Attitude mode software allows for easy landings even in difficult wind conditions
- 5 free mixers
- SUMD output for connection to flybarless systems, flight controllers or power box.
- SUMDIN input for redundant receiver operation.
Flybarless system for helicopters
- Rescue mode and attitude mode for helicopters
- Basic setup is done in minutes via HoTT telemetry.
- Fast and innovative axis assignment for flexible installation direction
- Extremely space-saving thanks to its size, weight and elimination of cables, which makes storage easier
- Special 3-axis sensors of the latest generation resistant to vibrations
- The swashplate pirouette optimization and tail moment direction compensation are detected automatically.
- All common 90/120/135/140 degree and 90 degree 4 servo helicopter swash plates
- Adjustable wing plate rotation up to 90 degrees for multi-blade heads
- Clear standard menu and, if necessary, an optional expert menu
- The sensitivity parameters can also be set during the flight to speed and style depending on the flight phase via the encoder
- Super fast thanks to the elimination of transfer time from the receiver to the flybarless system
- Very direct control feel
Programming for helicopters
- Simple programming of basic settings via telemetry.
- Pirouette optimization is determined automatically from the parameters and works very well.
- Extreme flight stability with full 3D capability even at basic settings.
- The effect for the tail and wing can be easily adjusted via the telemetry menu or with optional encoders.
- Additional optimization options in expert mode for personal flying style and personal requirements.
- Extremely simple adjustment of basic settings via telemetry:
- Direction of rotation of the rotor
