ND (neutral density filters) are filters designed to reduce the amount of light reaching the chip of a camera or camcorder. This gives you complete control over light exposure to achieve desired effects such as blurring water surfaces, waterfalls, clouds or maintaining natural motion blur in video, which would otherwise be impossible to achieve without an ND filter.
Light reduction: 2 stops – for fine exposure control in brighter scenes.
Uses: Ideal for photos and video in partly cloudy or brighter conditions, where a slower shutter speed or opening the aperture is needed for a film-like look without flare.
