    Original information:
Mosquito was the world's largest lightweight bomber. Its performance and speed were able to overcome only the first German jet fighters. As one of the world's fastest and best-in-class aircraft, the versatile Mosquito has proven to be a perfect day and night bomber, as well as a guiding and reconnaissance aircraft. The fighter, built mainly from wood, entered the service at the RAF in 1941 and for his exceptional performances he earned the nicknames "Plywood bomber" or "Wooden miracle". With its low weight and powerful Merlin engines, each delivering 1650 horsepower, it was able to reach a top speed of 612 km / h. The Mosquito B Mk.IV version used two RAF squadrons for precise bombing since 1942. One of their successes was the liberation of French resistance officers on February 18, 1944. Later, she served at 6 British Air Force squadrons in the front line.
