Tiger II, unofficially known as the King Tiger, developed in 1943, was produced by Henschel from 1944 onwards. King Tiger combined the requirements of armored defense and firepower in an exemplary manner. There was no armor of the enemy to penetrate the front armor with a thickness of more than 150 mm. The side armor has a thickness of more than 80 mm. Despite several massive Allied attempts to bomb the Henschel Race in Kassel, more than 492 Tiger IIs, including prototypes and 50 vehicles equipped with a Porsche tower, were delivered to the troops. However, not all of them were used at the front. A large part of the Tiger II was lost in failures because of their heavy weight or simply because of fuel.
