The greatest advantage of the Mosquito aircraft was its speed, thanks to which it was able to outrun the fighter planes of the time and was thus suitable for military reconnaissance. The Mosquito PR Mk.XVI variant proved to be the most effective a few months before the Normandy landings. It could fly anywhere, see everything, and the Germans honestly hated these machines for that.
