The Gun Motor Carriage M6 was built on the basis of the famous 4x4 Dodge WC52, with a lightweight, 37mm anti-tank cannon mounted on the rear. Thanks to its six-cylinder Dodge T-214 engine, the M6 \u200b\u200bwas able to reach a maximum speed of 90 km / h on the road. The United States Army used it from the end of 1942 until the end of the Second World War on all fronts, from the Mediterranean and the European Battlefields to the Pacific. The GMC M6 has been designed and built to build an anti-tank car, but since its first crash in Tunisia, its gun against the latest German tanks has often been ineffective. Its main operational role has therefore partially changed, and M6 has begun to be used as infantry support.
