To finish, you need to paint the body. Lexan bodies are always delivered as a semi-finished product intended for cutting and painting. First of all, the body needs to be nicely cut out, and the curved lexan scissors will help you to make the wheel holes as round as possible. For flat surfaces, we also offer straight scissors for lexan. When choosing colors for the polycarbonate body, care must be taken to buy a really lexan spray, eg H-SPEED lexan spray 150ml white, which has a special composition so that it is etched into the body, the colors are then flexible and resistant to peeling and cracking even in the event of the greatest impact. Before painting, the body must be thoroughly degreased, most manufacturers recommend washing the body with spring water. After degreasing, use masking tape from the inside of the body, eg 24mm masking tape to create the design of your choice, or stick the masking stickers supplied by the manufacturer on windows and lights. It is important to know that lexan bodies are painted from the inside, so that the body becomes abrasion resistant. Varnishing should preferably take place in rooms with room temperature. We apply individual colors in at least three layers, it is important to apply the color from a sufficient distance, at least 15-20 cm .
