Original and model information:
Stryker is a family of Canadian eight-wheel armored combat vehicles, which are based on the LAV III type. Their production is provided by General Dynamics. Since 2002, these armor has been used by the United States military in several versions. It was named after two Medal of Honor winners - the bachelor Stuart S. Stryker and the fourth-grade specialist Robert F. Stryker. The first died in the fighting of World War II, the second in the Vietnam War. There are several versions of the Stryker transporter - a medical vehicle, a command vehicle, a reconnaissance vehicle or a vehicle for chemical reconnaissance.
