Protoform clear Ford Mustang GT body for RC car models 1:7 (e.g. Felony), wheelbase 406mm, length 692mm, width 312mm. Made of durable 1.5mm lexan, mounting accessories.

Protoform delivers a true American Muscle car body for the popular ARRMA® Felony™ 6S platform. The body combines the signature grille, fender flares and aggressive stance of the 6th generation S550 Mustang. A sculpted rear wing is included to complete the super scale look. The body is made of durable high-quality polycarbonate with a thickness of 1.5 mm with a protective film. Also includes a detailed ah decal and wing mounting hardware. This body has been designed with wider rear fenders and is directly compatible for Arrma Felony™ to expose the 53/107 tires. The bodywork can also be used for the Infraction model, but for optimal appearance we recommend using Tunig parts, see recommendations below.

Construction

To finish, you need to paint the bodywork. Lexan bodies are always delivered as a semi-finished product intended for carving and painting. First of all, you need to cut out the body nicely, to make the holes for the wheels as round as possible, bent lexan scissors will help you. For flat surfaces, we also offer lexan straight scissors.
When choosing colors for the polycarbonate body, you need to be careful that you buy a real spray for lexan, for example H-SPEED Spray for lexan 150ml white, it has a special composition so that it sticks to the body, the colors are flexible and resistant to peeling and cracking even with the biggest impact.
Before painting, the body must be thoroughly degreased, most manufacturers recommend washing the body with spring water. After degreasing, use masking tape from the inside of the body, e.g. 24mm masking tape to create the design of your choice, or apply the masking stickers supplied by the manufacturer to the windows and lights.
It is important to know that lexan bodies are painted from the inside, which makes the body resistant to abrasion. Varnishing should take place best in rooms with room temperature. Individual colors are applied in at least three layers, it is important to apply the color from a sufficient distance, at least 15-20 cm.
