    Jim Clark Triple Pack

Born in 1936, Jim Clark is remembered today as one of the greatest natural talents to ever get behind the wheel of an F1 car, if not the most talented driver ever. He is considered a true great of the sport and a man who had no equal on the track.

Born in Fife, Scotland in 1936, Jim Clark is remembered today as one of, if not the greatest, talent ever to drive a Formula 1 car. Born into a farming family, Jimmy began his racing career in local road rallies before moving on to circuit racing in a borrowed DKW car. By 1958 he had attracted the attention of the local Border Reivers team and was racing a Jaguar D-Type in national competitions. He won 18 races in which he participated.

In 1958 he raced a Lotus Elite car at Brands Hatch, finishing second to Colin Chapman, boss of Lotus, to begin his career with the famous Norfolk marque. In 1960 he already raced for Lotus in Formula 1, made his debut in the GP of the Netherlands and in 1962 won his first Grand Prix in the Belgian race at the dreaded Spa Francochamps circuit. He won his first world title in 1963, followed by another in 1965, both for Lotus.

However, his achievements were not limited to F1, he won the Indy 500 race, raced at Le Mans and won a number of touring car races and the British Saloon Car Championship behind the wheel of the fantastic Lotus Cortina. He is considered by many to be the most talented driver ever to work in Formula 1. Jimmy was tragically killed during a Formula 2 race in Germany in 1968. He is remembered today as a true great of the sport, a natural talent beyond all others, and a man who had no equal on the track.
