From 1984 to 1989, the International Race of Champions was driven by Chevrolet Camaro IROC cars. The best racing pilots from all over the United States, but also from other countries, sat in to measure their abilities and find the biggest champion among themselves. Their cars were significantly different from their road cousins and looked more like NASCAR machines because they were built on tubular space frames.
Each car was then painted with a different distinctive color, thanks to which spectators could easily recognize their favorite pilots even from a greater distance. This series was very popular in the 80's, which are very closely connected with the specific silhouette of this Camara.
