AllrounderAttention fans of short takeoff and landing aircraft, here is your new model!
The RC airplane model made of SOLIDPOR® Graupner Husky 1800S hard foam features not only low surface load but also very good flight characteristics at low speeds and versatile applications, it also has a remarkable short take-off and landing. The Husky model can be converted not only with XXL wheels, but also with skis (No. 13410.43 skis) or floats (No. 13410.44 floats). The aircraft already has a tow coupling pre-installed, which only needs to be supplemented with a servo and the appropriate connection. With this aircraft model, glider models up to 2 kg can be brought to the correct height using the F-haul. The current 4S 2200 battery and motor settings ensure sufficient thrust and flight time.
Thanks to the proven quick-lock technology on the wings, already used on the HoTTrigger 1400S, the model is ready for use on the flying terrain. The struts of the bearing surface are secured only by a split pin, as they have a purely optical function.
Rivets and metal bumps ensure the necessary optical advantages. Thanks to the technical solution, we managed to achieve a very good combination of neutral and simple flight behavior despite the scale dimensions. In addition to good flight characteristics, this model allows use for light aerobatics. For this reason, the ailerons and flaps are designed somewhat larger than the original ones. Control surfaces are suspended by hinges such as HoTTrigger. These ensure the necessary precision of the joints.
All screws in the aircraft are made in a hex socket. Lock nuts were used throughout instead of regular nuts.
The controller, motor, LED, elevator, rudder, ailerons and flaps are already mounted. Only a few work steps are required to prepare the model for flight. You are spoiled for choice and have to decide on one of the three decoration options and stick them on.
The receiver is installed through the rear left window, which is fixed with a magnetic lock. The servo input of the servo traction device is also located here. For the installation of the antenna, two plastic tubes are already glued into which the antennas can be easily inserted.
The decorative sets are part of the set in three colors and two designs and are already pre-cut. The cut contours contain almost all the recesses or separations necessary for gluing the decorative set without additional work.
Conversion for individual applications can be done quickly and easily. The main landing gear can be removed in one piece. For balloon tires, the wheels must be removed with the wheel covers. The skis are mounted on the rims of normal tires. The floats are bolted to the sides of the hull like the original and held in place by a turnbuckle.
