BATTERY SPECTRUM SMART

Spektrum smart batteries respond to recent trends and include electronics that ensure safe and especially easy to use. The integrated electronics in the battery constantly evaluate the voltage of the individual battery cells and the temperature of the entire battery, optimizing the charging of individual cells for the shortest possible charging time. When you connect the Smart LiPo battery to the Smart charger, the charger reads all the necessary parameters (battery type, number of cells, capacity, charging current) directly from the battery. Charging has never been easier!

• It records the number of charge and discharge cycles. This gives you an overview of how many accumulative cycles have been completed.

New IC3 and IC5 connectors

The new IC3 and IC5 connectors have a modern design with an emphasis on safety and simplicity . The contacts are made of gilded pins and cores (in case of IC3 connector with a diameter of 3.5 mm, in case of connector IC5 with a diameter of 5 mm). The connector is also equipped with a data conductor for communication with the charger. When using Smart chargers, it is not necessary to connect the balance connector. Connectors IC3, resp. IC5 is backward compatible with EC3 or EC3 connector. EC5.

As already mentioned, connectors have been designed with an emphasis on safe and easy to use. The connectors cannot be reversed, the contacts and soldered connections are covered with a plastic cover.

To charge the batteries with conventional chargers, the standard JST-XH service connector is routed from the battery.

CHART SPECTRUM SMART

The new Spektrum Smart S150 1x50W AC / DC charger offers a very simple and safe way to charge your Smart battery. The charger has a power supply of 20V 3A, after connecting the battery, the charger automatically adjusts optimally and starts charging the battery. Charging power up to 50W, compatible with LiPo, Lilon, LiHV and NiMH battery types.

LED status indication

The charger indicates 3 values - battery, charging status and current, by means of LEDs. On the left side is the type of LiHV, LiPol, LiFe or NiMH battery. The middle section shows the shape of the battery cell and has 4 charge status values. The right side determines the flow current: 0.5A, 1A, 3A and 5A.

Effective cooler

On the back of the charger is the DC connector of the 5.5mm power supply, a data connector and a large efficient heat sink.

Output IC3

The front of the charger has an IC3 output connector and a 2S-4S balancer connector.

IC3 / IC5 adapter
