The package contains a completely assembled RC model car for remote control Arrma Granite Mega 1:10 4WD RTR with installed components: DC motor Mega 550 12T, controller Arrma Mega 2S with connector IC3, servo control Spectrum ™ S650 5kg.cm@6V, Spectrum receiver SLR300 2.4GHz 3CH. RC models of Arrma cars on the Mega 4x4 chassis are here again and in addition with many improvements! The Arrma Granite Mega RC car has 4x4 drive and provides maximum traction and performance on any surface. Model speed up to 48 km / h. The model is completely assembled with incredible equipment. Thanks to the high ground clearance, the model is especially suitable for outdoor use. You only need 4 AA batteries to run the model.
The construction of the RC car chassis is arranged to achieve a perfect balance of the RC car model. The drive shaft is in the middle, the battery on one side and the electronics on the other. In addition, the entire chassis is equipped with side covers that limit the penetration of dirt into the model. The battery is firmly stored in place by means of clamping straps.
The composite chassis has been redesigned and aluminum axle reinforcements to provide increased durability in exposed areas.
The RC model of the Arrma Granite Mega 1:10 is equipped with a front and rear differential, which ensures maximum traction. The differentials are fitted with metal gears and the shafts are mounted in bearings. Wheel drive is realized by means of telescopic half-axles. The drive gear for the differential is now metal as with the BLX 4S models. The model is ready for the possibility of installing an AC drive.
The oil dampers are equipped with new O-rings that provide smooth running and safely keep the oil inside the damper. The shock absorbers are equipped with impact protection covers on the front. The change in stiffness and ground clearance is possible with the help of oil viscosity, the spring preload can be adjusted with spacers. The construction of the damper ensures easy service , all you have to do is push the damper to the stop and unscrew the upper bowl from the damper body.
DBoots Fortress MT universal tires are glued to 2.8 "spoke discs with 14 mm hexagonal carriers.
The model is designed for easy service. Loosening the 5 screws can be removed from the electronics block containing the controller, servo control and receiver in a waterproof * box.
Servo protection against strong impacts is provided by a servo-saver, which is connected to a top-of-the-line Dual Bell Crank control by means of a lever. If necessary, the box is provided with an explanation for setting the neutral.
The drive of the model is provided by a powerful DC motor Arrma Mega 550 12T. The engine is equipped with an internal impeller for efficient cooling.
Quality servo of standard size Spektrum S650 has plastic gears, torque 6 kg.cm, speed 0.12 s / 60 ° with 6 V supply. Inserted O-rings give the servo resistance to splashing water. The output thousandth servo has 23 teeth.
Arrma Mega 12T DC controller with water-resistant * switch, passive cooling and surge protection. Powered by a two-cell LiPo or 6 to 7 cells with a NiMH battery. Easy setting of battery type and return by shorting jumpers.
The new IC3 connectors have a modern design with an emphasis on safety and simplicity. The contacts are made of gold-plated pins and sockets.
As already mentioned, the connectors have been designed with an emphasis on safe and easy use. The connectors cannot be reversed in polarity, the contacts and soldered connections are covered with a plastic cover. The IC3 connector is backward compatible with EC3.
The basic 3-channel Spektrum SLT3 steering wheel operating at 2.4 GHz is compatible with the SLT protocol. The low weight of the Spektrum SLT3 transmitter allows for fatigue-free holding. The steering wheel is covered with a foam rim for a firm grip. The layout of the controls is practical and intuitive - all controls are positioned so that they are quickly accessible when needed. A secure loop is available for attachment to the strap.
The car 3-channel receiver SLR300 is equipped with SLT FHSS 2.4GHz technology, resistant to interference. It is compatible with Spektrum SLT transmitters and is backward compatible with Tactic steering wheel transmitters.
The package includes a mains charger with automation and a NiMH 8.4V drive battery with a capacity of 3300 mAh. The battery is equipped with the latest IC3 connector.
The finished painted body is equipped with high-quality 3D prints. The body is secured with rubber bands so that you no longer lose any clips.

To put the model into operation, it is only necessary to buy 4x AA batteries for the transmitter. The battery and mains charger are included in the package.
To extend the driving time, we recommend purchasing an additional battery. For normal riding and for children, we recommend buying another identical battery, which is part of the package. You can use modern LiPo batteries for maximum driving time. If you use different types of batteries, it is always necessary to set the type of connected battery on the controller!

To shorten the charging time and the possibility to charge LiPo batteries, we recommend using universal chargers with a power of at least 50 W. (Only NiMH batteries with a charging current of max. 700 mA can be charged with the included set charger.)
For normal operation of an RC car, you need tire glue, screw glue, a set of tools and silicone oil for the shock absorbers. From our range we recommend an affordable set of tools for RC cars.
The tire glue adheres the tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary for the tire to be firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not stuck around the entire circumference, it may rupture. The tire adhesive has a special composition that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the adhesive is flexible. Occasionally it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there is only a slight leakage of silicone oil along the shock absorber piston rods. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage can be large. For these cases, repair kits or individual parts are supplied. Screw adhesive is required for routine maintenance. Screws screwed into the metal material (eg screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this adhesive.
Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for long travel times. On the contrary, the LiPo battery is prone mainly to mechanical damage.
