The kit of the static model of the historic ship AMATI Greek Galeotta 1821 1:65 kit will allow ship modelers to build a static model of the Greek galeotta. Included are keel, frame, deck, planks, masts and beams, metal and wooden fittings, wooden inlaid decorations, sails, flags, oars and metal cannons.
The Greek War of Independence (1821-1827) is best known for the naval battle of Navarin. This war involved numerous actions of Greek fighters against enemy Turkish (Ottoman) ships. The Galeotts were very fast, with a small draft, allowing them to anchor invisibly inside the narrow bays of the Aegean islands and wait for enemy ships.
Scale 1:65, length 550 mm.
