The Giulietta Spider, a car icon of elegance and style, was built by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo between 1955 and 1962. It was based on the Sprint chassis. The design of the new car was characterized by the decent, elegant lines typical of the Italian cabriolets of that time. Giulietta Spider got under the hood a four-cylinder, 1290 cm3 long-displacement engine, which served 65 hp in the first production series. Thanks to this, the new Alfa was able to reach a maximum speed of 155 km / h. It had a drive on the rear axle, the front and rear drum brakes and the independent suspension of the wheels. The sporty version of "Veloce" then offered its customers a stronger engine with two carburetors and overall improved driving performance. Giuliettu Spider motorists welcomed a lot of markets and sold very well.
