Original information:
The BF-109 G is a logical developmental step from the previous F version of a well-known German fighter aircraft that dominated the sky in the early stages of the Second World War. The new model was equipped with a stronger engine to increase its speed and to fly at higher altitudes. Some planes also had a larger firepower to rival with large allied bombers. By the end of 1943, the BF-109G formed the backbone of the Luftwaffe and participated in the fighting on all fronts where it managed to be an equal opponent of the Allied Air Force until the very end of the conflict.
