The fastest RTR car in the world! Thanks to years of experience, Traxxas has been able to develop a super fast 1:7 XO-1 car that can accelerate from 0-160 km/h in 4.92 seconds and reach a top speed of over 160 km/h! Acceleration from 0-100 km/h in an incredible 2.3 seconds! The package contains pinions and front gears with different numbers of teeth for perfect tuning of the car to the size of each track.

XO-1 test at the Masaryk circuit in Brno

On August 8, 2012, between 1 and 2 p.m., the XO-1 test took place in cooperation with Mr. Igor Vlahovič and other partners at the Masaryk circuit in Brno. A maximum speed of 168.2 km/h was achieved. The test compared the acceleration of the XO-1 with a Porsche 911 Carrera and 600cc and 1000cc motorcycles. The XO-1 passed all tests without competition. The test was preceded by about two months of preparation and the necessary familiarization with the model. During this time, a total of eight videos were created that describe the necessary steps that need to be taken to safely reach top speed. RC model chassis

The chassis of the model consists of an extremely strong chassis plate, made of aluminum 6061-T6 with a thickness of 3 mm. The chassis is completely straight from the bottom and plastic aerodynamic parts are attached to it. The electronics and battery components are mounted on the chassis in the center of the model's axis, ensuring accurate model balance and a low center of gravity. Thanks to this, the RC car model has excellent driving characteristics.



The drive mechanism is mounted on a double aluminum plate, which forms a solid and light unit with the chassis. The drive is realized through the main gear wheel with the Cush Drive system, through the aluminum central shaft, to the front and rear differentials, up to homokinetic half-axles.

Cush drive absorption system

The innovative Cush drive system uses a special part equipped with elastomer silent blocks to absorb the shock of the engine. The system replaces the friction clutch and enables a more efficient and reliable drive without complex adjustments.


The distribution of power between the individual wheels is ensured by a front and rear differential with metal gears, for maximum durability. The differentials are filled with oil, the density of which affects the adhesion of the differentials (higher viscosity of the oil = higher adhesion of the differential).

Oil dampers

Oil shock absorbers with powerful springs absorb shocks and the model has the characteristics of real racing cars. The dampers feature exclusive sealing X-rings that minimize oil seepage around the piston rod. The shock absorbers are fully adjustable: spring preload can be conveniently changed with a nut on the shock absorber, stiffness can be changed by changing oil viscosity.


The Digital High-Torque servo 2075 and the Dual-Bellcrank servo-saver, which protects the entire mechanism in the event of an impact, are intended for steering. Fixed 4 mm steel turnbuckles are used to adjust camber and toe. Everything is already set and adjusted, the axles can be easily adjusted to adjust the geometry according to your needs. The key parts of the wheel hinges are made of aluminum alloys.


The shape of the body with the intake opening for cooling the power unit was optimized in the aurodynamic tunnel to achieve the least air resistance and sufficient downforce on the front and rear tires and maximum stability at high speeds when passing through a corner.

Servo steering

Digital Traxxas servo 2075 high-torque waterproof with DC motor and nylon gears has a torque of 9.0 and a speed of 0.17 s/60°@ 6.0 V. For water resistance*, the servo box and the output 1000 edges are fitted with seals. Two ball bearings provide very smooth operation.

Power unit

The drive unit from the world-famous manufacturer Castle Monster Mamba Extreme was designed specifically for the XO-1. The goal was to make an RTR car that can go at maximum speed out of the box without modifications. The batteries can be connected in series or even in parallel - according to your needs. The cabling is adapted for high current consumption and has appropriately sized cables and connectors.

Traxxas TQi receiver

RC receiver Traxxas TQi 5 channel. TSM with telemetry for Traxxas TQi transmitters. Simple operation, pairing with a button. LED status indication. 3-axis MEMS sensors are integrated in the receiver for learning the position of the receiver.

The 5-channel receiver is also equipped with two connectors for connecting telemetry sensors RPM (revolutions) and V/T (voltage / temperature).

Furthermore, a telemetry extension module can be connected to the 4-pin connector, into which you can connect up to 6 more sensors, including a very accurate GPS speed sensor.

Traxxas TQi RC kit with Bluetooth ready

Traxxas has prepared for you a completely new series of two-channel RC kits with Bluetooth connectivity. The Bluetooth module (included in the package) will allow you to connect the RC model with the clear graphic application Traxxas Link, which you can install on your smartphone for free.

The Traxxas Link app for Apple devices is available for free on the AppStore , the app for Google Android devices is free on GooglePlay .


The Traxxas Link App is a powerful application that gives you complete control over the operation and tuning of your Traxxas RC model with stunning visualization and absolute accuracy of settings. Traxxas Link can display telemetry data that the model provides in real time, such as speed, rpm, temperature, battery voltage and model roll. You can share settings of RC models, you can create any number of profiles for a specific track or users, e.g. children. All in the app with the brilliant graphics that come naturally from Traxxas.

Traxxas Stability Management

The Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) stability system allows you to experience not only power, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speed, but also guarantees much easier steering and control on slippery surfaces such as dust, smooth concrete or even ice and snow.

The receiver has a MEMS 3-axis gyro and an accelerometer, which evaluates the movement of the model on the order of 100 times per second and corrects the model's direction of travel by appropriate interventions in the steering of the front wheels. Traxxas TSM does not limit engine power - you have 100% control over engine power. Algorithms are tuned for each model separately. The level of assistance is set using the multi-function controller on the transmitter or possibly in the Traxxas Link application.

The XO-1 car model is not a toy and is only intended for experienced drivers! Operation at maximum speeds is recommended only on closed tracks for RC cars.

To operate the model, you need 4x AA batteries for the transmitter, 2x drive accumulator and a charger for the drive accumulators.

Recommended batteries

We generally recommend using a pair of LiPol car batteries with a capacity of at least 5000 mAh for this car. As a rule, use Traxxas connectors, which can easily withstand high current loads. Either two or three LiPol cells can be used. The battery compartment is adjustable, so it should be no problem to fit any standard LiPol car battery. The car reaches a full speed of over 160 km/h when using 2 x three-cell LiPol batteries, with a two-cell you can reach a speed of approx. 90 km/h.

Recommended LiPo batteries

The model can be operated on a pair of identical 2 or 3 cell LiPo batteries.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of the Traxxas RC car, you need bolt glue, good quality tire glue, silicone shock oil and a set of screwdrivers. We recommend an affordable set of tools for cars from our range.

The thread or head of the screw is dripped with screw glue, which fixes it and the vibrations caused by driving prevent the screw connection from loosening. The screw adhesive has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with an adequate torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary instant glue, it might be impossible to loosen a screw stuck like this!

Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. Never use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks would gradually form in the tire around the rims!

Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the dampers of the model. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. For these cases, so-called repair kits are supplied. In the range of tuning parts, piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating are delivered to all shock absorbers. Piston rods with a TiN surface are easily recognized by their golden-green color.
