Original information:
Tiger II, unofficially known as King Tiger, developed in 1943 and produced Henschel since 1944. King Tiger linked the requirements for armored crew protection with sufficient firepower to demonstration. The front armor, up to 150 mm thick, could not break through any weapon that his enemies had on board. The lateral armor had a thickness of up to 80 mm. Despite several massive allied bombing, Henschel's factories in Kassel were able to produce and deliver a total of 492 Tiger II machines, including prototypes and 50 wagons equipped with a Porsche tower.
