The Central M4 Sherman was the backbone of the US Army in World War II. M4 was the first and most basic production version of the Sherman series. A total of 49,234 vehicles were built, including the famous "Easy Eight".
Sherman first engaged in combat at the end of 1942 in North Africa, where he had to face German Panzer III and Panzer IV. Since then, he has appeared on all fronts until the very end of the war. However, its weaknesses included small firepower and narrow belts, often trapped in muddy terrain.
