The lightweight M-3 Scout espionage vehicle has become one of the most widespread in its class. In total, these cars produced more than 21,000. The serial production of its modified version of the M-3A1 was launched at Ford in 1941. The M-3 cars used all anti-Hitler allied armies. Many Soviet Red Army, for example, had many of them available. This machine was able to carry up to eight people to protect the strong armor from bullets and shards. A large-size machine gun could be mounted on its bodywork.
