ALPHA 1500 is no longer alone in the sky! The sleek motor glider connects resistant and tenacious traction grasshopper BETA 1400. Reliable education and training workhorse satisfy novice pilots who carried out the initial scaling airfield to basic aerobatic maneuvers and thermal soaring. Equally pleased holiday weekend fliers who provide compact and easily transportable model for flying, perfectly relaxing.

BETA 1400 is a school and a practice motorized glider from durable extruded polypropylene EPP driven by an AC motor. Thanks to this concept with the engine mounted on a pylon under the wing stands up well to withstand rough handling and even harder "čuchometrické" sticking a bow to the native soil, which would be the classic models with engine Add next to the least damage to the propeller.

The fuselage fitted with a brushless motor (outrunner, CD2622) housed in a wing pylon for fixed propellers, mounted controller 20 A and rudder and elevator servos is molded from EPP foam. Canopy is removable magnetic closures. Two-piece wing is also molded from EPP, the wings are controlled by 2 servos mounted in the wing with a short straight wire rods. Wing combine carbon pipe clamps. Empennage in conventional arrangement are made from EPP, they are controlled by means of wire rope pull. Engine cooling facilitates cooling air in the leading part of the pylon, the cooling air flows through channels around the motor housing.

Flight preparation involves only sticking empennage (medium glue), deployment of wing halves, connecting the receiver and connect the drive battery. Controlled by the ailerons, rudder, elevator and motor speed.

The control model is a classic four-channel transmitter CADET 4 2.4GHz FHSS (Frequency Hopping system spread spectrum), with cross controllers arranged in Mode 1 (throttle right), trims and switches sense deflections for all channels. It is also equipped with a charging plug for charging the transmitter battery in the transmitter (chargers are suitable Hitec CG-22, CG-S32). To power the transmitter you will need 8 AA (AA) alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries (not included RC set). If you do not like to hold the transmitter in your hands, you can supplement strap Hitec (# 8311) or place it in a counter Optic Transmitter 6 (just to be generous with foam tape in the hip transmitter housing).

Like in the case with our other sets (Skylady, a Cessna 480 ...) RC equipment can later be used in other models in the same category.

BETA 1400 is intended for beginners deliver-as always - under the supervision of an experienced pilot, as well as for anyone who wants just as nice recreational flying. The flight characteristics are good and straightforward. The model will acquaint you with full governance model around all three axes; coordinated with the proper control rudder, ailerons and elevator. This experience was "like finding" no later than immediately after embarking on his first flying aerobatic model or a (semi) mock any kind. By varying the ratio of the lengths of servo and rudder you can adjust the size of variations in the large range. Beginner starts with small displacements, secure and excessive "steering"; experienced pilot will set up a large, allowing a little bit of that basic větroňové stunts - flips, barrel rolls, Wing over Beta are going pretty well! The engine power is sufficient for very lively pitch pattern, it is not excessively přemotorovaný, which could cause difficulties novice pilots. BETA 1400 can also be used very strong thermals in the sky and can withstand "all ages".

BETA 1400 comes with a Li-Poly battery 11.1 V 1300 mAh (capacity 20C), which corresponds to a fixed propeller 5x4 ". Model no problems" can carry "tříčlánky until about 2200 mAh.

RC set includes: body molded from EPP fitted with a brushless motor, fixed propeller 5x4 "speed controller 20A and 2 servos, wing stamped EPP installed with two servos, the tail of EPP, carbon pipe coupling wing, four-channel transmitter CADET 4 2.4 GHz FHSS 2.4GHz FHSS with six-channel receiver, power Li-Poly battery 11.1 V 1300 mAh (20C), 12 V fast and detailed instructions for building and flying.

Important notice - Pairing

At present, RC sets begin to explore new design transmitter CADET 4 Protocol V3 (easily identified by their symbol V3 transmitter and that receiver RX-600 V3 has one antenna, while the previous version have two antennas). When the pairing setting and always follow the instructions for the transmitter CADET 4 V3 of the applied in construction - instructions for the model may contain a description of the operation of the transmitter in an older version (version 2) receiver with 2 antennas.

Pairing sets RC Cadet 4 Protocol V3

  • 1. For pairing the transmitter and receiver must be located at a mutual distance greater than one meter. Turn on the transmitter.
  • 2. Press and hold the SET button on the receiver and the receiver on. When the red LED on the receiver starts flashing, release the button.
  • 3. Within 10 seconds, then press and hold the BIND button on the transmitter until all LED on the transmitter and the receiver begin to glow continuously lit. Release the button; the transmitter is ready for operation.

Pairing sets RC Cadet 4 version 1 or 2 (2 receiver antennas)

For pairing with the type of receiver, transmitter must first switch to the appropriate mode:

Pairing with the receiver "type 1" (complete process including the choice of transmission mode)

  • The first transmitter is turned off.
  • 2. Press and hold the "PDM" on the transmitter. Turn on the transmitter. By the time the transmitter green LED flashes slowly and red LED flashes at double speed, the "PDM" release.
  • 3. Red LED blinks rapidly several times and then both LEDs still for a few seconds to indicate the manner described above, which operating mode of the transmitter is selected. Then both LEDs quickly blink and light up continuously.
  • 4. Turn on the receiver (connect the drive battery to the speed controller). The transmitter and receiver should be spaced not less than 1 m.
  • 5. Using a plastic rod or small screwdriver press and hold the pairing button on the receiver (located on the left side of the receiver, just above the antenna). Over the next few seconds, the LED on the receiver flashes slowly at first, then quickly and eventually will be permanently illuminated. Release the pairing button, the RC rig is ready for operation.

Pairing with the receiver "Type 2" (complete process including the choice of transmission mode)

  • The first transmitter is turned off.
  • 2. Turn on the receiver. Press using a plastic rod or small screwdriver pairing button on the receiver (located on the left side of the receiver, just above the antenna) and hold it for more than 2 seconds. LEDs on the receiver blinks high latency and twice with a short delay and then begins flashing rapidly.
  • 3. Press and hold the "PDM" on the transmitter. Turn on the transmitter. The moment the LED on the transmitter regularly přeblikávají, the "PDM" release. (Transmitter and receiver should be spaced not less than 1 m).
  • 4. The red LED flashes fast potrvrzení on the mode selected for the transmitter "type 2" and then both LEDs přeblikávají again.
  • 5. Whereas both transmitter LED přeblikávají, press "PDM" on the transmitter. Both transmitter LED lights; LEDs on the receiver off and then also lit continuously.
  • 6th pairing has been successfully completed, turn off the receiver and then the transmitter. Now you can turn on the transmitter and receiver RC rig is ready for operation.

Note .: If for some reason unable to pre-determine whether you have a receiver "Type 1" or "Type 2", just try both methods. < / B>
