ALPHA 1500 is no longer alone in the sky! The elegant motorized glider is joined by a durable and tough BETA 1400 tow bridge. A reliable school and training hard worker will satisfy novice pilots who will perform from the initial beating of the landing area to basic acrobatic turns and thermal sailing. They will also please recreational weekend pilots, who will be provided with a compact and easily transportable model for perfectly relaxing flying.

BETA 1400 is a school and training motor glider made of highly durable extruded polypropylene EPP powered by an AC motor. Thanks to its concept with the engine mounted on a pylon behind the wing, it withstands rough handling and tolerates even harder "chowometric" sticks in the native lump, which would at least lead to damage to the propeller in classic models with a bow engine.

The fuselage with a mounted AC motor (with a rotating casing, CD2622) mounted in a pylon behind a wing with a fixed propeller, equipped with a 20 A regulator and rudder and elevator servos is extruded from foam EPP. The cab cover is removable with magnetic closures. The two-part wing is also extruded from EPP, the wings are controlled by 2 servos mounted in the wing with short straight wire rods. The wing halves are connected by a carbon pipe coupling. The tail surfaces in the classic arrangement are extruded from EPP, they are controlled by wire ropes. Engine cooling is aided by the entry of cooling air in the leading part of the pylon, cooling air flows through ducts around the engine casing.

Preparation for flight includes only gluing the tail surfaces (medium instant glue), attaching the wing halves, connecting the receiver and connecting the propulsion battery. The ailerons, rudder, elevator and engine speed are controlled.

The model is controlled by an eight-channel RadioLink T8FB 2.4GHz FHSS (spread spectrum frequency hopping system) transmitter with cross controls arranged in Mode 1 (throttle right), trims and switches for the sense of deviations for all channels. You will need 4 AA (pencil) alkaline batteries or accumulators (not part of the RC set) to power the transmitter.

The BETA 1400 is designed for beginners - as we always deliver - under the supervision of an experienced pilot, as well as for anyone who just wants to fly nicely for recreation. The flight characteristics are pleasant and unmistakable. The model will introduce you to the full control of the model around all three axes; with proper coordinated control of the rudder, ailerons and elevator. This experience "as if you find it" at the latest right after you start flying with your first acrobatic model or (semi) model of any kind. By changing the ratio of the lengths of the levers on the servos and rudders, you can set the magnitudes of the deflections in a large range. The beginner starts with small deviations, safe even with excessive "steering"; an experienced pilot will set up large ones, enabling even a little bit of the basic glider acrobatics - somersaults, barrel turns, headland turns go Beta quite well! Engine power is sufficient for a very lively climb, while the model is not excessively re-engineered, which could cause difficulties for novice pilots. BETA 1400 can use even not very strong thermals and can withstand "all ages" in the sky.

The BETA 1400 is supplied with a 11.1 V 1300 mAh Li-poly battery (20C load capacity), which corresponds to a fixed 5x4 "propeller. The model will" carry "three-cell cells up to approx. 2200 mAh without any problems.

RC set includes: fuselage extruded from EPP with mounted AC motor, fixed propeller 5x4 ", speed regulator 20A and 2 servos, wing extruded from EPP with installed 2 servos, tail surfaces from EPP, carbon tubular wing coupling, eight-channel transmitter RadioLink T8FB 2.4GHz FHSS with eight-channel 2.4GHz FHSS receiver R8EF, Li-poly 11.1 V 1300 mAh (20C) propulsion battery, 220V quick charger and detailed construction and flying instructions.
