Fox 3.5m ARF red / blue

The popular Polish aerobatic glider MDM-1 FOX in the scale of 1: 4 with a span of 3.5m from Tomahawk Sport as a composite model with finished color with laminate hull and sandwich vacuum molded mold. The wing has a high strength due to the carbon reinforcements of the structure and can withstand high dynamic and static loads. The wing has a proven HQ / W2.5 / 11 profile, the elevator has a symmetrical NACA0010 profile.

Composite wing and elevator

The model has a lightweight quality laminate fuselage, the wing and elevator are made as a vacuum molded sandwich, carbon reinforcements and flange makes the model incredibly solid and light. The model is completely painted in molds, so the surface of the model is perfectly smooth without bumps. The wing joint is made of an aluminum tube with a 16mm diameter carbon stick. The cab is glued to the frame, laminate seats and dashboard are included.

The MDM-1 FOX is made in a 1: 4 scale to provide the prerequisites for a compact, thoroughbred aerobatic glider with flight characteristics of a large aircraft. The 4-flap wing allows to change the profile curvature to match the flight conditions and to increase maneuverability. Butterfly can be used for landing, the model lands on a 100mm landing gear.

Fox includes complete accessories and components needed for finishing, such as clutches, forks and ball pins, rudder levers, clutches, bolts, wheels, etc. This version of FOX is a combination of shades of red and blue.

Dashboard

Cabin equipment is an important part of such a large glider model. The model has two instrument boards, one is the classic instrument panel in front of the pilot, the other is for the rear pilot.

Tail part of the model

Mount the elevator with two screws on the exact position of the bed with the sealed nuts, insert the rudder into the prepared brackets and into the pins on the top and bottom of the rudder.

Fitting the wing

The wing joint is made of an aluminum tube with a sealed carbon rod, this combination can withstand an incredible load and has high strength. The wing halves slide to the root rib, the position is secured with carbon pins.
