LED lighting

The model is newly equipped with front and rear LED lighting, for breathtaking driving day and night. High-brightness diodes are not only effective, but provide a strong stream of light. The lighting also provides a better overview of the model's position.

Modular chassis

The all-new Rustler 4x4 modular chassis is easy to disassemble on a part with just a screwdriver. You have access to all important components, model setup and service within a minute. Sturdy, reinforced bumpers protect the model from impacts, while being designed to maintain high approach angles.

New lowered chassis

The new Low-CG chassis ensures perfect balance and stability of the model even in the fastest corners. The lowered chassis has been widened by 20 mm for maximum stability.

Staple body

The body is newly reinforced with a frame and thanks to a simple clamping system, battery replacement is quick and without the loss of clips. All you have to do is intuitively slide in the body at the front and secure it at the rear with one movement of the clip.

Friction clutch

The patented friction clutch uses special friction plates and aluminum plates for better heat dissipation and consistent traction control. The clutch intensity can be easily adjusted without disassembling the model.

Metal differentials

Traxxas closed differentials are state-of-the-art in performance and efficiency management. Steel differential gears can handle the power of DC and AC motors. The precise silicone seal with X-rings allows the differential tightness to be adjusted by changing the oil viscosity.

Oil shock absorbers

The oil dampers use X-ring technology for a perfect seal and smooth running. The operation of the shock absorbers can be adjusted by preloading the springs and changing the oil viscosity. The driving characteristics of the model can thus be set exactly according to your needs.

Accurate and reliable control

The control is ensured by an accurate and reliable dual bellcrank system with an integrated servo saver. This system protects the servo mechanics from sharp shocks and at the same time always ensures precise control of the model.

Power steering

Traxxas servo 2056 6.2kg.cm waterproof digital servo with DC motor and nylon gears has a torque of 6.2 kg.cm and a speed of 0.20 s / 60 ° @ 6.0 V. For water resistance *, the servo box is fitted with a seal.

TQ receiver

The three-channel Traxxas TQ 2.4 GHz receiver ensures safe control without outages. Easy one-button pairing. Status indication by LED diode.

Electronic controller Traxxas XL 5

Waterproof * electronic controller Traxxas XL-5 with three driving modes, support for modern high-capacity LiPo batteries and easy operation with the EZ-Set ™ button. The XL-5 controller is equipped with a training mode that limits full throttle to 50%. Thanks to this, novice drivers or children can gradually get acquainted with the features of the model and prepare for the full power of the car. Thermal protection, gold-plated connectors and incredibly low internal resistance are the motto of this controller.

• Sport : Default mode, forward, braking and reverse are possible.
• Race : A mode suitable for racing. Forward driving and braking are possible; reverse is not available.
• Training : A mode suitable for children or beginner riders. It is possible to drive forward with a power limitation of 50%, brake and reverse travel again with a power limitation of 50%.

Powerful Titan 12T engine

The RC model car is powered by a powerful Titan 12T DC motor. The motor is a 550 series, the rotor winding has 12 turns. Compared to standard 540 series engines, the Titan 12T has 30% more power.

Fast charger with automatic 12 V

The package includes a fully automatic fast charger for NiMH batteries at 12 V with a connector to the car socket. The charger allows you to charge 6 to 7-cell NiMH batteries with a charging current of up to 4 A. Charging is completed by the Delta Peak method.

A 12 V mains adapter with car socket is available as an option.

RC set Traxxas TQ

The model is controlled by a two-channel proportional steering wheel RC transmitter Traxxas TQ, operating in the 2.4 GHz band - operation without interference. The transmitter is powered by only 4 AA cells.

There is a rotary knob on the transmitter that trims the steering wheel (so the model is straight when the steering wheel is in the center position). The indication of the battery status in the transmitter is indicated by an LED diode. The transmitter can be set to reverse the throttle and control channel (if you would like to use the transmitter to control other models).

Recommended spare batteries

To extend the driving time, we recommend purchasing an additional battery. For normal riding and for children, we recommend purchasing another identical NiMH battery, which is part of the package. You can use modern LiPo batteries for maximum driving time and higher performance. If you use different types of batteries, it is always necessary to set the type of connected battery on the controller!

Recommended Traxxas chargers

Traxxas universal chargers can be used to charge Traxxas LiPo and NiMH batteries. (The charger included in the package is only for the NiMH battery included in the package.) Traxxas chargers are a simple and safe way to charge the batteries. Traxxas uses the unique iD system , so you can always be sure that you can connect everything easily and safely. LED lighting - profi

Instead of basic lighting on the model, you can install high-performance complete LED lighting. The lighting includes a front LED strip for the bumper, a roof panel made of front (white) and rear (red) LED strips, a power supply module and mounting accessories.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of the Traxxas RC car, you need screw glue, high-quality tire glue, silicone shock absorber oil and a set of screwdrivers. From our range we recommend an affordable set of tools for cars.

The screw glue drips the thread or the head of the screw, which fixes it and the vibrations caused by driving do not allow the screw connection to loosen. The screw adhesive has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with a reasonable torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary instant glue, it could be impossible to loosen a screw glued in this way at all!

The tire glue adheres the tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not stuck around the entire circumference, it may rupture. The tire adhesive has a special composition that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time the adhesive is flexible after hardening. Never use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks in the tire would gradually form around the rims!

Occasionally it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers. During normal operation, there is only a slight leakage of silicone oil along the shock absorber piston rods. If the damper piston rod surface or seal condition is in poor condition, the oil leak may be large. So-called repair kits are supplied for these cases. In the range of tuning parts, piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating are supplied with all shock absorbers. TiN-coated piston rods are easily recognizable by their golden-green color.
