Telemetry system Hitec 2.4GHz thanks to the telemetry panel HTS-SS Blue possibility of expanding current and voltage measurement. Now you can fly with your model YET know the current engine speed, current consumption, electric propulsion or other onboard equipment, the voltage of the battery pack or in another place onboard wiring, the temperature at different locations and GPS information, including information about location, speed and altitude. The system can be installed in most of the flying models: helicopters, gliders, electric-powered models.

# 5846 HTS Blue Telemetry combo complete Elektro

For an easy start Hitec prepared containing the complete telemetry data logger and a set of sensors for electric motor:

  • 1x Optical encoder (O-RPM)
  • 1x magnetic speed sensor (HTS-MRPM)
  • 4x Temperature Sensor (HTS-TEMP)
  • 1x current sensor HTS-C50 (50 A)
  • 1x current sensor HTS-C200 (200 A)
  • 1x sensor voltage HTS-VOLT (0-100 V)
  • 1x GPS sensor (HTS-GPS)

Due to small size and low weight (data logger ALL sensors connected weighs about 45 g - ie. As much as one standard servo), it is possible to obtain data and telemetry from the deck of the small and lightweight models.

# 5849 HTS-SS Blue telemetry logger Electronics

Telemetry data logger used to collect data from external sensors (sensors to 9) and jejj transfer to the telemetry receiver Hitec with data input (at the moment Optima Optima 7 and 9). As the name suggests ( "Elektra") is optimized primarily for electric powered models - airplanes, helicopters, cars and boats. The panel contains electronics "serving" the individual sensors - is therefore not possible to connect the sensor itself directly to the receiver, but always only through the exchange.

For proper operation, it is necessary to check in advance (and where necessary update using HPP-22) that:

  • Aurora 9 transmitter software (if its using) is version 1.0 8 or later
  • Spectra software transmitter module 24 (or VF part in Optic 6 Sport 2.4GHz) is version 3.01 or later
  • Optima software receivers (7 or 9) is version 2.02 or later
  • Instructions on how to perform the update can be found HERE .

The panel does not require any adjustment, involves using a pair of cables supplied with it - twisted triplex with a cable leading to a telemetry receiver input DATA, a flat cable is used to power the control panel and sensors (4,8-8,4V). You can connect it directly into an unused servovýstupu receiver. If they are all occupied, then using a Y-cable, or you can bring power directly from the battery switch receiver.

In addition to the data output (DATA) and an AC outlet (P) data logger has nine outlets with nezáměnnými connectors for different types of sensing sensors:

  • R1, R2 - for connection speed sensors
  • C - to connect the current sensor
  • V - to connect the voltage sensor
  • G - for connecting GPS sensors
  • T1, T2, T3, T4 - connection of temperature sensors

You can connect up to two speed sensor, no matter whether magnetic or optical socket number gives the address at which the sensor will appear on the transmitter display Aurora 9, or on a computer monitor when connected via HPP-22 to the transmitter module.

Similarly, you can connect up to four temperature sensors, bay number again indicates the address of the sensor.

When connecting the current sensor is needed on the transmitter (or on a connected PC or other telemetry interface to select the appropriate type of transducer (C50 or C200 to be shown the correct current value.

Set telemetry control panel includes: a telemetry logger HTS-SS Blue, power cable, data cable and a double-sided adhesive foam tape.

# 5833 - Optical encoder (O-RPM)

The optical encoder is designed for larger models (esp. helicopters) flying under the open sky.

Installation is simple. Fix the sensor beam on the tail of the helicopter with two tie-supplied sensor and connect to the telemetry panel. For aircraft models can fix the sensor eg. On the engine cover screws or double sided adhesive tape so that it has unobstructed "view" on the rotating propeller.

The sensor may be, under favorable conditions, placed at a distance of up to 1500 mm from the (large), propeller or rotor - provided that it is installed sufficiently away from objects that could measurements interfere (e.g. by stabilizing flats "paddles" in helicopter ). Of course it depends on the dimensions of a rotating object - speed measuring osmipalcové propeller on small Elektra must go much further than in the case of large dvacetipalcové "buckets" for adult electro.

The menu tachometer on the PC or on the Aurora 9 is of course necessary to set the correct number of blades (rotor).

Sensor Kit includes: an optical speed sensor with cable, 2 ties, self-adhesive double-sided foam tape, screws 8x1,8 mm 2.

# 5834 - Temperature Sensor (HTS-TEMP)

The temperature sensor is used for temperature measurement touch - it applies eg. Temperature monitoring at the head of the internal combustion engine, batteries, controllers or other parts of the model, whose temperature we might be interested.

The sensor itself is wrapped in shrink-wrap to withstand high temperatures; Operating Temperature range -40 ° C to 200 ° C. This means that the sensor can measure the temperature of virtually almost anywhere in conventional models.

Sensor Kit includes: 2 temperature sensors with cable.

# 5850 50 A current sensor (HTS-C50)

Current sensor HTS-C50 has been designed for simple and accurate measurement of DC current to 50 A at a resolution of 0.1 A. Measuring current is contactless, so like. clamp ammeters, where the sensor measures the intensity of the electromagnetic field around the wire, which is proportional to the current. The sensor consists of a toroid centered with cable runs in which the measured current.

Mounting Principles:

  • The cable and the sensor must be securely fastened so that it will not change their relative positions.
  • The cable must be to achieve maximum accuracy lead through the center hole in the sensor.
  • The sensor must be correctly oriented in the direction of flow of electric current. Indicates the correct orientation arrow on the side of the sensor; electric current flows always from a place of higher electrical potential to the point with less potential - eg. the power pack to the speed controller, from source to consumer. In the same direction and must face the arrow on the sensor.
  • Do not place the scanner magnets, as this may adversely affect the measurement. Activity sensor may affect other current sensor if it was located in the vicinity.

Sensor Kit includes: current sensor HTS-C50.

# 5855 A current sensor 200 (HTS-C200)

Current sensor HTS-C200 has been designed for simple and accurate measurement of DC current to 200 A with a resolution of 1 A. Current measurement is non-contact, like the so-called. Clamp ammeter, wherein the sensor measures the intensity of the electromagnetic field around the conductor, which is proportional to the flowing current.

Indicates the correct orientation arrow on the side of the sensor; electric current flows always from a place of higher electrical potential to the point with less potential - eg. from the power pack to the speed controller, from source to consumer. In the same direction and must face the arrow on the sensor.
  • Do not place the scanner magnets, as this may adversely affect the measurement. Activity sensor may affect other current sensor if it was located in the vicinity.

Sensor Kit includes: current sensor HTS-C200.

# 5855 Voltage sensor (HTS-VOLT)

Voltage sensor used for measuring DC voltage in the range of 0 to 100 V. The whole electronics is stored in the telemetry panel, outer part is only connecting cable supplied in two versions: a cable with crocodile clip and cable nalisovatelnou T-clamp. T-clamp ensures reliable contact, but keep in mind that it is not designed for repeated insertion and removal. Lead with alligator clip is more versatile, but it must be ensured that during use to prevent accidental shorting. You can also alligator unsolder and replace it with a suitable connector - eg. 2 mm gold plated connectors meet the requirements for reliable contact.

Involvement voltage sensor (+) terminal is a crocodile clip or T-clamp on the cable plugged in "V" on the telemetry panel HTS-SS Blue. (-) Terminal ( "country"), against which to measure voltage, the (-) terminal on servozásuvkách receiver (assuming that the telemetry panel is normally powered from the receiver). If you would like to measure the voltage on the circuit galvanically isolated from the power receiver must be connected (-) terminal of the network and terminal (-) servozásuvek receiver.

T-connection terminals: in the "vertical" of the T- terminal Crimp connection cable, into the "rungs" Crimp cable in which you want to measure voltage.

Sensor Kit includes: cable with crocodile clip, connection cable for the T- terminal connector, T-clamp.

# 5836 GPS Sensor (HTS-GPS)

GPS sensor Hitec is specially designed for use in RC model moving in three dimensions - unlike the antennas in the GPS navigation for automobiles capable of receiving signals from satellites in one direction (perpendicular to the surface of the sensor) is a cubic antenna Hitec able to adopt in 5 directions . This allows stably receive GPS data, even when the 3D flying.

The sensor is simply mounted using double-sided foam adhesive tape on the upper part of the model so that the cubic antenna had a "free view" on the navigation satellites circling in orbit around the earth cable and the sensor aimed at the longitudinal center line.

GPS provides current data (shown on the display of the Aurora 9):

  • latitude
  • longitude
  • altitude (absolute figure) or relative altitude compared to the take off point (selected by software on the transmitter Aurora 9 or PC software)
  • date and time (world, UTC - two hours behind Central European Summer Time, one hour behind Central European Time)
  • movement speed model

On a computer monitor connected via the HPP-22, you can still watch

  • model course
  • distance model in a straight line and the distance
  • distance of the model from orthogonal projection model down to the starting point

PC also allows record the flight (driving) and memorizing the data for all sensors, not GPS.

Format date (day / month / year), using metric or anglosasských (imperial) units and the method of indicating the height (absolute / relative) is adjusted by software to Aurora 9 transmitter or PC software.

Accuracy and stability data, of course, depend on the number of navigation satellites that GPS sensor "sees".

Note .: When you first start the system takes the initial focus position a little longer - well, depending on where you are. Once the system is in operation, it remembers the last position for about 4 hours. When switched on again at the same place during these four hours, the initial positioning much faster.

Note .: In extreme 3D flying could result in loss of signal. When this occurs, try to stabilize the model in level flight until a connection with the navigation satellites restored. < / P>

Sensor Kit includes a GPS sensor cubic antenna and cable, double-sided adhesive foam tape.

# 5842 Magnetic speed sensor (HTS-MRPM)

The magnetic speed sensor is suitable for applications where it is not possible to use optical measurement speed (eg. Due to the dimensions of the optical sensor). The magnetic sensor also ensures precise measurement speed without affecting the intensity of lighting and weather conditions.

The speed of the monitored object are measured with the aid of a permanent magnet fixed to the object and the sensor, in the immediate vicinity of the magnet moves. The best results are obtained when the distance between the sensor and magnet smaller than 1 mm.

The magnet can be glued with epoxy to the recess (projection of 4 mm and a depth of 2.5 mm) drilled e.g. the rear disc spinner, the flywheel of the car or helicopter. Due to the fact that for objects rotating at high speed is necessary to maintain their balance, the magnets are usually mounted in pairs symmetrically with respect to the axis of rotation. The second magnet is attached to the opposite polarity (indicated by "+" on the magnet) to affect the measured value. In contrast, in subjects with low speed measurement accuracy can be increased by using multiple magnets, the result must then be divided by the number of magnets - this correction can be performed automatically adjusting the propeller of the multiple number of sheets in the PC software or the transmitter Aurora 9. When using a magnet on the menu tachometer set on the Aurora 9 "Vrt.-M", respectively. "Prop-M", the two magnets "Vrt.-2 ', respectively. "Prop-2", etc ..

Holder with scanning Hall probe is mounted screws into the immediate vicinity of the path along which the moving magnet.

A set of sensors comprising: a sensor probe on the support cable, three magnets, two screws with nut M2,3x6 mm.
