Futaba sensor altimeter/vario SBS-02A

Telemetry sensor - barometric altimeter / variometer for RC sets Futaba with telemetric transmission systems FASSTest, T-FHSS Air (for aircraft). It enables the measurement of the relative height of the model in the range of -700 m to +5500 m with respect to the take-off point with a resolution of up to 0.1 m and the speed of ascent / descent of the model in the range of -150 m / s to +150 m / s Ideal for measuring the flight altitude of gliders and powered gliders and signaling their ascent / descent. The operating states of the sensor are indicated by an LED diode.

Compatible receivers: Futaba receivers with S.BUS2 port

Connection to the receiver: S.BUS2 socket.

Default address number setting (start address): 3 *

Transmitted telemetry data: relative height (relative to the reference point - sensor switching point), ascent / descent speed

Typical installation: In the fuselage of the model, where the sensor is not directly exposed to the air flow, but in a space that is not completely enclosed to allow changes in atmospheric pressure to occur.

Power supply 3.7-7.4V (nominal battery voltage).

Sensor set includes: SBS-02A sensor with cable, instructions.

*) Telemetry sensors are identified on the S.BUS2 serial bus by an address number ("slot"); more complex sensors transmitting more than one data may require several consecutive addresses - in which case the first address belonging to a given sensor is called the start address.
