On the coast, a sea wizard is about to dive to a colony of magic pearls. He is looking for a pearl that will grant him power. A dragon trainer goes to Blood Island in search of an ancient dragon.
The second expansion of Res Arcana is called Perlae Imperii (Pearls of Power). It brings a new type of essence to the game - pearls - and extends the game to 13 victory points.
There are also new mages, a new magic item, monuments, places of power and artifacts waiting for you.
The expansion can be played with the base game alone or in combination with the first Lux et Tenebrae expansion.
