The four-seater Fairchild model 24 was produced from the early 1930s until the late 1940s - first as a tourist and light-duty, inverted or star-powered, popular with mobile sports customers (including a range of Hollywood stars), and then as transport and connecting UC-61 Forwarder in large series for the US Air Force. Several hundred of them served with the fighting name Argus in the British RAF; at least one flew after the war also in our country - unfortunately, as an ideologically objectionable he was not allowed to live to the present. But in the world, thanks to the robust design, these planes still fly.

Semi-scale model of the American light transport aircraft for driving a 30-35ccm petrol engine or 12S Lipo powered electric motor. The hull of the model is a classic design in a combination of balsa / light plywood, the engine cover is laminated, removable, as well as aerodynamic wheel covers. The two-piece wing (with duralumin tube coupling) with semi-directional profile is also a classic all-balsa construction as well as tail surfaces. Wings and flaps are controlled by 2 independent servos. The whole model is covered with an iron-on transfer sheet Oracover.
The chassis is a two-wheel pneumatic retractable, with sprung legs and steerable spur.

The kit contains: built fuselage, wing and tail surfaces covered with iron-on foil, laminated engine cover and aerodynamic wheel covers, steerable spur, wheels, adjustable engine bed, fuel tank, propeller cone, set of small accessories, picture instructions for construction.
