The Tucano / Toucan two-seat military training train is one of the most successful aircraft coming from the design office of the Brazilian company EMBRAER. In addition to a number of home-produced machines around the world, pilots are also practicing Tucana from licensed production at British Shorts Brothers. The model from the Phoenix kit is a machine in the colors of the acrobatic group of the Brazilian Air Force "Esquadrilha da Fumaca" ("The Smoke Squadron").

Semi-precision brazilian-British drill aircraft for two-stroke engines 10 cc or four-speed 12-15 ccm. The fuselage of the model is a classic all-metal construction with a large "greenhouse" of the cockpit cabin occupied by a pair of pilots. The engine cover is removable laminated. The two-piece wing (dural tube coupling) with a symmetrical profile is also a classical design with a torsion box; to the fuselage is fastened with polyamide screws. Ailerons and flaps are controlled by 2 service pairs. Tail surfaces are classical all-metal. The whole model is coated with Oracover iron-on transfers.

The kit includes: Oracover coated fuselage, wing and tailpiece, sprayed laminate engine cover, engine bed, cone, a complete set of small accessories, a sprung mechanical retractable chassis, wheels, an acrobatic fuel tank, a sticker sticker, and a detailed pictorial guide.
